If there’s one thing that goes together better than peanut butter & jelly, it has to be wine & Italian food. It’s not just the glorious tingles of your tastebuds, but it’s the fact that the pair usually involves putting on a pretty outfit & meeting up with friends to socialize & catch up in a dimly lit restaurant. One such restaurant goes by the name of Postino Wine Cafe, and we had the pleasure of spending four hours there last Saturday night when we were in Arizona for our Dad’s birthday.
With bruschetta boards that will leave your mouth watering, a wine list that is out of control, and an atmosphere that makes you feel sophisticated, but comfortable, Postino Wine Cafe is like no other “wine bar” that I’ve been to. While the wine & food prices are always reasonable, Monday & Tuesday nights are a steal–$20 for a bruschetta board & a bottle of wine.
I think it’s safe to say that Postino Wine Cafe will be missed as much as I would miss an old friend. And for that reason alone, feel free to comment below with wine bars or other trendy, but comfortable, places that you recommend in your towns!
